Meet Andreas
Andreas was born and raised in a small town right outside of Vienna, Austria. He found his passion for cooking at a young age while helping his grandmother cook meals for the family. After completing his apprenticeship in Vienna, Andreas embarked on his career, which led him around the world. During this time, he gained experience working with many ethnic cuisines, ingredients, and techniques, which he has been using in his cooking ever since.
After years of traveling, Andreas and his wife moved to the Roaring Fork Valley, where he pursued new culinary adventures. From working as executive chef at the Aspen Meadows Resort, to turning Cloud Nine Alpine Bistro into a famous après-ski destination, and later opening a European bistro, Allegria, in Carbondale, Colorado.
With his newest adventure, Alterra Aspen, Andreas’ passion for cooking has been brought into the homes of his clients where he continues to cook flavorful dishes and provides an unforgettable experience.
